About the Genealogy Center

The goal of the Minnesota Genealogical Society (MGS) and its branches is to provide education on methods of genealogical research, social activities with other individuals with genealogy interests, and a place to research ancestors. The Hoffman Research Library provides a wide variety of information covering many states and countries, articles on vital statistics, military records, immigration, mapping records, and many other areas of research as well as a facility for meetings and classes.

Directions

The Minnesota Genealogy Center is located a quarter-mile north of Exit 71 for Pilot Knob Road off I-494. Free parking is available.

To get directions using google maps click on the "More Options" link in the map on the right.  A Google maps screen will pop up where you can enter your address in the "Choose a starting point..." field to get directions to the Minnesota Genealogy Center .

Your are welcome to bring your lunch or make a quick trip to one of several restaurants located about two miles south of the Minnesota Genealogy Center.
